Subtle detailing elevates classic residential design
This small development of four detached homes in Stapleford was designed by NP Architects to complement the traditional architecture of this historic Cambridgeshire village.
The houses have traditional pitched roofs combined with contemporary window openings, including ‘eyebrow’ dormer windows. AFP completed the structural engineering to support the complex curved shape of these attractive openings.
AFP also supported the extensive use of flint panelling across the project, both on the houses and to form a high boundary wall that screens the site from the adjacent busy road.
