Excelling in technical challenges, Paul provides a meticulous attention to detail which ensures effective delivery of even the most complex engineering projects.
Gaining a BSc(Hons) Civil Engineering from City University in London, Paul then became Chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers demonstrating his wealth of knowledge, ability and skills.
Paul has been pivotal in the design of a wide range of sophisticated structures, from cable-stayed roofs to Glulam timber structures and multi-level basements requiring extensive investigation. During a secondment in Hong Kong, Paul demonstrated his flexibility in working within differing cultures and adaptability to unfamiliar construction methods. An important resource within the AFP team, Paul offers extensive experience in the education and residential sectors and nurtures important relationships with clients including Cambridge University and Colleges.
Anthony Keppey | Director
With a wealth of practical knowledge, Anthony’s methodical approach to any engineering challenge has led to his excellent track record of project success.
Anthony has worked on a wide range of diverse projects, including hanging a 1950s Cadillac car from the ceiling of Hard Rock Café in Lisbon, Portugal. Closer to home, Anthony has worked on projects for a number of education establishments as well as industrial and commercial projects and has designed a great many high-quality new build dwellings across the region.
A Director at AFP since 2016, Anthony can be relied on for his honest, straight-talking communication and dynamic approach to structural and civil engineering.
Simon Nesbit | Director
With a measured and practical approach to engineering solutions, Simon provides rich experience gained over an extensive career of successfully delivered civil and structural engineering projects.
Simon studied for a BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering at Salford University, an institution known for excellence in research and innovation, and later became a Chartered Civil Engineer with the UK Government’s Property Services Agency.
Previously employed overseas by Mott MacDonald, Simon worked on the £1 billion design and construction of Hong Kong Airport at Chek Lap Kok. As part of the design team, Simon was instrumental in delivering the reinforced concrete superstructure, steel framed departure lounge and detailed co-ordination drawings for lifts and escalators across the whole airport. Over 25 years at AFP, Simon has developed strong relationships with clients and construction professionals in the Cambridgeshire area and beyond. His ability to apply tried-and-tested solutions and resolve challenges ensures the positive conclusion of projects large and small.
