Ashdown House

The existing grade II listed Georgian house was connected at the rear to a dilapidated former dairy. The brief for a new kitchen and garden room was restricted by the existing position of an historic flint wall. The proposed kitchen extension, constructed in materials to match the existing house, is positioned away from the house and connected via a glazed link and a contemporary styled fully glazed steel framed extension built off of the existing flint wall provides uninterrupted views of the garden.
