AFP welcomes a new addition to their team, Andrew Harrison. Andrew endeavours to add value to the engineering industry, which he knows always involves teamwork, understanding requirements and processing ideas into practical, drawn decisions.

Andrew has worked with Structural Engineers on general arrangement drawings, details, and site investigations – all of which have been through hand sketches, AutoCAD, Excel and Tedds. His technical experience involves superstructures, including masonry, steel fabrication and timber systems. He’s also arranged trial pits and hand auger logs and assisted in analysing ground, drainage surveys, foundations and the subsequent drawings.

Having previously obtained a Bachelor of Architecture, he possesses skills necessary as a technician that are valuable for communicating engineering concepts. He is, at present, halfway through his Civil Engineering L3 Technician Apprentice course at Cambridge Regional College.
